Kate
Private Chef
Profile
Kate’s culinary journey is a testament to her dedication and talent. In her twenties, she had the privilege of learning from some of the most renowned chefs in the industry, including Marcus Wareing and working at 1 star Morston Hall. Her love for food led her to Scandinavia, where she made significant contributions to two world-famous establishments.
In Copenhagen, Kate’s ambition and talent propelled her to the position of Head Chef at the 2 Michelin-starred Restaurant AOC, making her the youngest female head chef of a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant in the world at that time – an achievement she holds dear, and so do we!
Subsequently, Kate ventured to Sweden to serve as Sous Chef at the 3 Michelin-starred Restaurant Frantzén. There, she immersed herself in intensive training, continuously honing her skills.
Post-pandemic, Kate decided to return to her roots in London, assuming the role of Senior Development Chef for Gordon Ramsay, then moving into the private sector, learning cuisines from all over the world, enjoying the widening of her culinary knowledge. This transition has provided her with a better work-life balance, allowing her to continue pursuing her passion while appearing on the ultimate chef T.V show, Great British Menu in 2024, being the first woman to win the main course category in the shows 19 year history, competing against some of the countries most talented Michelin kitchen chefs.
Also enjoying private fine dining parties for Harper Fine Dining – an aspect of her work that she finds particularly rewarding.
