Terms and Conditions

Provision of Services
Harper Fine Dining (“HFD”) agrees to provide the Client with private chefs, waiting staff, and sommeliers for their private dinner party or event. The services encompass menu design, crockery or equipment hire (if required), and event organisation.

Payments and Cancellations
To confirm a booking and secure the requisite team for dinner parties or events, the Client shall make an initial non-refundable deposit amounting to 25% of the total event cost. In certain emergency circumstances, HFD may consider rescheduling the event to a date close to the original, subject to a review of the situation.

The remaining balance of the payment should be cleared seven days prior to the event, accounting for the organisation and work already undertaken. If the event is cancelled past this date, the payment will be non-refundable to cover the costs and to compensate the team for the loss of work.

Payments can be made via bank transfer. HFD also accepts payments through PayPal or credit card, albeit with a supplementary charge of an additional 3% of the total amount, inclusive of VAT.

Refunds & Disputes
Once the dinner party has occurred, refunds will not be issued due to the costs incurred for staff and produce. In the event of a dispute, HFD is committed to engaging in fair discussions to reach an agreeable resolution for both parties.

Nature of Service
HFD shall carefully select experienced chefs and service staff to ensure a successful dinner party or event at your location. Rest assured, our chefs hail from Michelin star restaurant backgrounds, and the service teams have experience in premium establishments and hotels.

Collaborating with you, HFD will design a menu that meets your preferences and will communicate all pertinent details to your team for a seamless event. Utilising high-quality, local, and seasonal produce, we aim to enhance your dining experience.

HFD guarantees to leave your kitchen immaculate post-event. While dietary requirements can be accommodated, they must be specified in advance to ensure proper arrangements.

Customer Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for promptly informing HFD of any dissatisfaction concerning any aspect of the event or the team. Honesty is required from the Client in reporting any attempts by Chef/Waiting Staff to circumvent HFD and engage directly with the Client. The Client agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding all information shared by HFD, complying with the requirements of the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and other relevant privacy regulations.

Liability
The staff deployed by HFD in private establishments assume full responsibility for their conduct. HFD disclaims liability for any unprofessional actions or losses incurred due to the staff, including but not limited to damages, costs, or claims. This includes any direct or indirect consequences such as economic losses or damages to business reputation or goodwill.

While HFD endeavours to offer services of the highest quality and integrity, no warranty is extended regarding the suitability of the team provided.

In the event of a breach of these terms by the Client, they shall reimburse HFD for all costs, losses, and expenses incurred, including potential fines resulting from any unlawful acts by the Client.
