Surrounded by the rich wine culture of Florence, Silvia’s journey in the world of wine was inevitable. After gaining experience at a food and wine marketing agency, she embarked on a new chapter in London in 2013, immersing herself in the vibrant wine scene. At Bedales Wines, Silvia served as a wine specialist while pursuing her WSET Level 3 certification and WSET Educator Certificate.
A transformative trip to South Africa reshaped Silvia’s perspective on wine, highlighting its deep-rooted connection to diverse landscapes. This experience fueled her determination to delve deeper into her studies, currently pursuing her WSET Diploma. Recently, Silvia has joined the education department of Berkmann Wine Cellars, where she leads tailored wine courses for hospitality professionals and WSET courses under the banner of Veraison.
