Matteo’s journey in the bar industry began at the age of 16, with a summer job near Rome. At 18, he ventured to London to refine his bar skills and English proficiency, eventually rising to the role of Lounge Manager.

His career highlights include participating in various prestigious competitions like Sidecar by Remy Martin, Beluga Masterclass, and Louis XIII Cognac. Notably, Matteo spearheaded five acclaimed cocktail lists at the St James Bar, Sofitel St James Hotel, earning the coveted Imbibe 2020 award for the UK’s best cocktail list.

Passionate about fine spirits, Matteo delved into wine and spirits through the WSET program, attaining level 2 certification. For Matteo, the essence of bartending lies in evoking lasting emotions in patrons – a belief that fuels his dedication and joy in his craft.
